It's Creek Week for Raleigh and we're celebrating on Brookside by welcoming folks to stroll the neighborhood to identify plants and animals, learn about stormwater creeks and the ecosystems they provide, and\/or pick up trash to help keep the environment clean and safe for all walks of life. This is the neighborhood's first Creek Week celebration \u2014 let's bundle up and have a great day!<\/div>
3 - 6PM\u00a0 |\u00a0 iNaturalist Bioblitz<\/strong><\/div>
We're kicking off our iNaturalist biothon! Become explorers and use your phone to take pictures of plants and animals you see while walking the neighborhood to help us accumulate collective data for Brookside's iNaturalist project<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. Young explorers can make their own viewing scope or \"binoculars\" (materials provided)<\/div>
6-7:30PM\u00a0 |\u00a0 Pelagic Happy Hour Creek Cleanup<\/strong><\/div>
Pelagic & The Great Raleigh Cleanup will begin a Creek Week litter walk to remove trash from our green spaces. Tools, gloves, and vests are provided. Volunteers will sign up with The Great Raleigh Cleanup at the start of the hour.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
